This was a color commission that I was doing alongside a bunch of comic test pages, and I've been doing a decidedly less gritty job of coloring in general.

I don't know if it's a good or bad thing, but I guess styles are constantly evolving. As a great man once said: "Be not afraid of going slowly; be afraid only of standing still."

i think this one can be gritty, it is the goddamned batman after all XD and it's a cemetery scene. guess it depends on the over-all mood and theme na rin, aside from the style of the penciler.

You did a great job! Your colors go very well with Mr Brunner's pencils and I could easily see this as a comic cover or litho! I joined this site just to be able to comment on it.
